Now why did I launch the group and name it group what I did?
I launched this group to give entrepreneurs, wantrepreneurs and sidepreneurs a place get answers to problems from other entrepreneurs, find inspiration, and grow your network of smart people.
Because the way I see it you have two options.
You can stay isolated and make mistake after mistake in business, fail and end up on your parents’ couch in the basement or some couch you’d like to replace one day.
Or, and yes this is the one you want, you can connect with like-minded people, grow your network, get input, stay inspired, help others, have some fun and win in business!
I’m crazy about helping people, especially entrepreneurs. That’s why I started this group, and in my experience success is found in reaching out, getting help and staying inspired so you keep working hard and following through on actions.
And as the group starter/launcher/birther, I will also give it structure and facilitate conversation so it doesn’t fizzle out like groups do some times.
Here’s what you can expect by joining the group.
Beginning Monday, each day will have a focus.
“Member Monday”
- Each week a different entrepreneur from the Facebook group will be “on the couch” to be featured
- Photo of them and what they do, including link to their website
“Hot Topic Tuesday”
- Members toss out a business issue they’re struggling with to get help from other members
“Won’t Hurt Wednesday”
- Members lie back, relax and share a personal entrepreneurial struggle they’re having and get perspective from others. This differs from Tuesday as Tuesday is meant for more classic business issues like marketing, sales, culture, customer service, etc.
- This day will also feature entrepreneurial challenges at times
“Throwback Thursday”
- Members share a past success OR mistake and what they learned from it
“Friday Fun”
- Members wind down the week by sharing a funny cartoon, graphic, picture, or story about entrepreneurism
It’s YOUR group so shape it
